Howard G. Jahre
Founder and Managing Member
Mr. Jahre is Founder and Managing Member of HedgeCap. Prior to joining HedgeCap, Mr. Jahre founded On-Site Trading Inc., a direct access securities trading firm, in 1994. Serving as its Chairman, Mr. Jahre grew the business into 26 offices nationwide, employing and servicing over 1,500 traders, hedge funds, and trading customers. Mr. Jahre sold On-Site Trading to a publicly traded company in 2001. From 1972 to 1988 Mr. Jahre was Vice-President of On-Site Energy Systems Corp, a diversified publicly traded firm with interests in real estate development as well as the manufacturing and distribution of musical instruments. In 1989, he sold the firm's musical instrument division to The Steinway Musical Instrument Company. Mr. Jahre received a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh in 1969. Mr. Jahre also received a J.D. Degree from Brooklyn Law School in 1972 and is a member of the New York State Bar Association. |
